Eduardo is the Managing Director of Yuma, a consulting firm he started to address the growing need of emerging markets to develop their own solutions, frameworks and methodologies to unleash economic development, entrepreneurship and prosperity.
He has been a strategic advisor to senior business, government and non-profit leaders throughout Latin America, having been one of the founding Directors of The Breakthrough, where he developed powerful and highly applicable frameworks around strategy and growth in more that 30 different industries.
In 2011 Eduardo lead a nation wide project on “How to Promote High Impact Entrepreneurship in Colombia” in collaboration with Boston based Monitor Group resulting in “regional agoras of high impact entrepreneurship” focusing on mindset shift, boundary alignment and endemic levers. The recommendations draw heavily on Babson’s Ecosystem insights and propose new solutions to the challenge of deploying coherent actions in the rather messy and ever evolving field of entrepreneurship.
Eduardo is also the Chairman of Yuma Ventures, one of Colombia’s fastest growing early stage venture accelerator for IT, entertainment, and financial services industries.
Eduardo is a Magna Cum Laude graduate form the University of Texas at Austin where he earned his degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
